I had the privlidge of meeting Mitch Heinz is September 2005 on a road trip to Biloxi, Miss. We were part of a church group providing aide for victims of hurricane Katrina. We worked well together and quickly became friends. Once back home in St. Aug.where we were both members of the Good News Church Mitch stepped out in faith to serve the Lord. He called me because I moved a lot of boxes and served hundreds of meals in Biloxi. I was immediately interested in the sandwich mission and wanted to do what ever I could to help. My efforts were centered around creating a rotating calendar and making phone calls and emails to set up groups to make and deliver lunches each week.
