Ike

Ike has come so far since we have met him. We first met Ike stumbling out of a crack/drug house we used to visit each week. After a couple of months of this the house had a fire and burned to the ground. No one was hurt in the fire but I believe that is when Ike really started to read the scripture verses that we gave him and he started coming to the bible study. He no longer lives in that kind of situation, he does still struggle in his life. Ike has started to find joy in serving and helping out. He is quick to ask if we need him to help with anything. He is always getting chairs or going around the neighborhood telling everyone it is time for bible study.
