Joe

The first day I met Joe was the first bible study that we ever did in the neighborhood. Joe heard the Gospel that day from Andy Hirko and gave his life to Christ. Joe has been coming ever since and each week he is sure to pick up lunches for his mom and his two sisters. About a year after I first met Joe he asked me if I could come, meet and talk to his sister. In talking to her she asked “If I were to die and I feel that I may be close to the end, is I am not sure where I would end up. Can you help me?” It really can't be asked clearer than that. So I shared the Good News of Jesus and she shared concerns and long story short we both prayed and she invited Jesus to come and Live in her heart. Joe is such an amazing story in the time we have know him he has come to know Jesus and comes to learn more about him each week as well as getting sandwiches to provide for his family.
