The Submission Cafe

The Cafe is currently in the "Dream Phase" of The Sandwich Mission. The idea is a non-profit restaurant where individuals have the opportunity to participate in a program where they will learn valuable job and life skills.

The program focuses on worshipping Jesus by doing all things with excellence. As the students learn life skills, they will also develop a deep sense of community pride, so that after program completion, not only will they be equipped to succeed in their life, they will want to keep rooted in their community and be a positive role model to all that follow. This is the key to positive community change. Individuals, who are willing to apply and be selected, will commit to the guidelines of the program.

Students will:

• Learn Job skills
• Learn Life skills
• Learn Stewardship of Resources
• Learn Money skills
• Learn People skills
• Be Discipled
• Be Mentored

The expectation of a graduate of the program is to be guided by Jesus in all they do for themselves, family, employer, and community.
