The Local Church

The Sandwich Mission seeks to partner with the churches of our volunteers. As a Para-Church organization, our desire is come alongside and be a resource for local church bodies. We do not wish to form a “Sandwich Church,” rather we want to build relationships and plug a person into an existing church body where that person can grow, serve and be transformed by Jesus. This is the crucial step in accomplishing the purpose that God has laid before the Sandwich Mission.

The Purpose: Build up an individual who strives to be guided by Jesus in every aspect of their life.

What does that look like?

  • This person has faith in and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • This person seeks time with God and His Word each day.
  • This person is an active participant in Biblical Community.
  • This person is committed to a local church body of believers.
  • This person shows fruit of this personal relationship with Christ.
