Mrs. Heinz gets her chance

Hello all,
Praise God for another new week in the sandwich ministry. This week something very special happened for me personally. My wife Jenn is a High School math teacher and just recently she has been off for summer break. So, for the first time this week Jenn was able to go with me and hand out the sandwiches. I was so pleased that she was able to finally go, she has been such a blessing and a support to this ministry both emotionally and financially. But this week she was able to help out physically and find out first hand how this all really works. We had a really good week, we started handing out lunches near the block where we hold our small group bible study. We asked them to join us in the study if they would like. We then moved on to the study, where we had 12 people in the study and at least that many more pass through as we held the study. It was really neat to just see community. When we first started the study weeks ago it was primarily me doing the talking and reading but now it has really transformed into a lot of interaction and discussion, to where I really don’t speak that much. I am so amazed by how God has worked through this ministry and formed this group. We handed out 8 bibles this week. I really love putting God’s Word into hands where I know that it will get read and be a light. Please continue to pray for this ministry and these people that we talk to each week. It is always something new and different every week. I thank you for your prayers and I thank God for what He is doing with me and this ministry. For His Glory, Mitch

June 7th, 2006 at 3:33 am Hey Mitch, I was on the Biloxi crew from Ocala Florida. Anyway…just wanted to let you know how thankful I am to God for always surpassing anything I could ever imagine. And to let you know how thankful I am that you and others are not only listening to, but carrying out what God has put on your hearts to do. Isn’t it amazing the blessings he gives us if we just listen to Him!! Thank you for your love and your time invested to these people and therefore to God. I cry happy tears every time I read your blog. And right now I’m at work at a gym and people are kinda looking at me funny. Good opportunity to share with them what I am emotional about :) May God surpass your most outrageous hopes and prayers this week with His Love. CJ
