T'was the Blog before Christmas

T’was the blog before Christmas, and all through the neighborhood, everyone was buzzing about the smell of good food. There were turkeys frying, prayers being led, not only their bodies, but their spirits being fed. With everyone serving and I with my camera, trying to document with photos the community being had.

We had a great time this week. Three times we were out, Wednesday, Thursday and then the big Christmas celebration on Saturday. It really is neat to see everyone come together, talking, sharing and celebrating our Lord’s birth. It is this consistency and love that that is really creating life change in people. I was handing out gifts (spiritual 2007 calendars) when I was going around talking to people and letting them know that we had a big dinner and that they were welcome. While doing this I approached a few dangerous looking characters that looked as if they would want nothing to do with me, but to my shock they were really welcoming and accepted us and thanked us for what we are doing.  Now that is God at work and moving in peoples lives. Through Him all things are possible. Have a Merry Christmas. I pray that your Jesus birthday celebration this year is the best one of yet. for His glory, Mitch
