Making a New Year's setback Spring us forward

Hello all, and praise god in all things. That is what I am remembering right now. I am not sure why it has happened but I know that Romans 8:28 says: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. So what is the thing that happened? Well my happy new year was met with my email crashing on New Years day. Which means I have lost all my email contacts. Friends, family, the blog list. I have been feverishly trying to recreate and piece together the list from various sources. So, if you have received the update email to the blog please let me know so that I can add you to the list. Also if you know somebody that would like to be added to the list have them email me with something about the sandwich blog in the subject. I get a lot of junk email so I need to be able to see that it is not junk thanks. I think that God will really bless this and I thank you for helping to further His kingdom by helping me put this all back together again, hopefully bigger and stronger than before.

Well enough about me and my trama. I was reflecting on the year that closed and the year that is beginning. The first time we did this sandwich thing we went out with 30 lunches with the Word in them. The year end tally was over 3,200 lunches handed out. I thank everyone that has helped out in this. This is not something I ever could have done on my own or even dreamed of. It was truly God working and moving through the hearts of His people. It is amazing what can happen when God calls us and we are obedient to Him. It is equally amazing what can be accomplished when we work together with God and each other towards a common goal of just showing His love to those around us. Pat went out on Wednesday and me on Thursday and between the two trips we handed out nearly 150 lunches last week. Wow, just to think how God has grown and blessed this ministry in this short time. We can only wonder what things will look like a year from now as we enter into 2008. Continue to pray for this ministry, and stayed tuned to see what God will do with it here in 2007, He is already off to an amazing start. for His glory, Mitch
